November 2011 Class Schedule

November
Class Schedule

You know that Lisa always has an outstanding group of classes every month.  It's always exciting for me to see what she has in store and I think this month she has created some very beautiful projects and cards for you to make.  Take a look at the schedule.  I'm sure there is a class for you!

Christmas House Canvas
Oct 27 & 28th

I do believe this is one of my favorites of all time.  You know Lisa loves the back side of any canvas.  Once again she has created a lovely project using Wendy Vecchi's Studio 490 Art Parts and Graphic 45 papers.  You will treasure this lovely Christmas canvas for years to come.

BLUE CHRISTMAS
Nov 1 & 4

Oh Yes!  This is a wonderful collection of Christmas cards using a blue theme.  There are vintage, modern and classic images used in this wonderful group.  You will learn a new resist technique that will make your stamping look like beautiful paper.

MORE FUN WITH BEESWAX
Saturday, Nov 5

This is more fun than a barrel of monkeys... really?  really!  If you have taken Experiments in Beeswax you are ready for the next step up.....  Learn how to  incise, scrape, texture, and torch your beeswax projects.  There is a lot packed into this 3 hour class and you will leave with 4 mini canvases.

CHRISTMAS CHEER
Nov 8 & 11

Another great collection of cards in a more classic color combination, you will really enjoy creating these classic beauties.  You will be using some of the new Fran-tage products from Stampendous as well as Tim Holtz, Stampendous & Hero stamps....

MIXED MEDIA CANVAS (repeat)
Sunday, Nov 13

Thas really been a popular class. Lisa was fascinated by this piece on 7 Gypsies blog. She just couldn't stop until she had recreated it. You'll love recreating it too!

MEMORIES PHOTO BOX (repeat)
Nov 15 & Dec 2

This class was originally offered a year or so ago.  Lisa was asked if it could be offered again and it was so popular last month that it's been added again to this month's schedule.  Some materials are no longer available, but with Lisa's help, you will be making substitutions like a pro!  Perfect for a keepsake or gift.....

BLESSING BOOK
Nov 17 & 18

I was showing Lisa this cool book I learned to make from a Teesha Moore art journal video and she remarked that in a smaller size it would make a perfect memory project for Thanksgiving.  Make this really sweet Blessing Book and have your family fill it with things they are thankful for on Thanksgiving Day.  It's the perfect way to remember your special Thanksgiving time with family and friends.

DEMO DAY
November 19th

You know this is always a time of fun and friendship for us.  It is always FREE and there is always a FREE Make-it-Take-it.  The next class schedule is ready for you to check out and sign up.  This time we have some very special things in mind for you.  Check back later for more details.  But keep in mind that it will be more than fun this time!

Week of Thanksgiving there will be no classes.

MEMORIES PHOTO BOX (repeat)
Dec 2
See description for class on November 15th.

That's it for now.....  Until next post..... Happy Stampin'

Demo Day/Class Schedule

Demo Day
Class Schedule

We had a great time Saturday during Demo Day.  Lisa created a wonderful chipboard door hanger using the new Ranger Perfect Pearl Mists, our new Crafter's Workshop templates........

Really love those Perfect Pearl Mists.  They are so different.  At first I thought why should we get them, we have Glimmer Mists..... but they are really different and so pretty.   Glimmer Mists are a gorgeous mix of color and shimmer but Perfect Pearl Mists give you colored shimmer in a spray.  It is so sparkly!  If you haven't seen them, you will just have to come by to see them for yourselves.  With 24 wonderful colors you will have no trouble finding one you can't live without!

We just started carrying Crafter's Workshop templates and may I just say that I am having a blast playing with them.  Lisa and I spent a morning a couple of weeks ago applying inks, paints and sprays with the templates to create some exciting backgrounds.  I think she will have a class or two using them in the not to distant future.

Lisa found the Suzanne Carillo stamp sets and we have had them on order for what seems like an eon of Sundays.  They finally arrived and while we didn't have time to make up any of our own samples for Demo Day, we borrowed a few from Art Gone Wild to show you how you can use them.  Lisa will be using the set pictured here in one of her Christmas card classes next month. They are really exciting and you will have great fun with them.

The class schedule should be up late Tuesday evening or early Wednesday morning.

That's it for now.....  Until next post..... Happy Stampin'!
